Presently, Marie-Claude is president of PartÂge, a networking group that provides support to entrepreneurs and businesses that all have a focus of working with seniors or their families.

In November 2014, this title received Finalist in the Health: Aging 50+ category of the USA Best Book awards. About these book awards: ‘Our stellar industry judges highlight and award entered titles based on design, content, and overall appeal.’
In 2012 this self-published author was awarded a silver medal in the Care Giving category, in the Living Now, Books for Better Living. Living Now Book Awards are designed to honor life-changing books, awards are open to all books that are written in English and that are appropriate for the North American market.

Chamber of Commerce Award
The Chamber of Commerce of Ville St-Laurent had an Alpha Contest which chooses companies from different sectors that are prosperous, have had constant growth or that the company has an economic impact. A gala evening was held on May 15, 2002; on this night they announce the winners. Helping Seniors won in the category of Independent Professionals Workers!!

Giguère’s topics are timely and questions relevant when applied to this major transition that, sooner or later, everyone must face. It is commendable that the author never overlooks an individual’s own uniqueness (there are no cookie cutter solutions) and the all important insight of following one’s own intuition or “gut feeling” about certain circumstances.

Created a tool that many seniors use
65+ Key Questions
We do not have images to show but over the years since we printed and started distributing a guide titled 65+ Key Questions to Ask Before You Start Looking for a Retirement Residence we have seen this document dog eared and scribbled in at many seniors homes. At times it is also been kept in a file for “when the need arises”, indicating that it is useful and a “keeper” as a document. Fun for us to see that we help open up the conversation and start a process that often takes a long time.
